Guidelines for events hosted by Sachsen Furs e.V.
Our events are large-scale gatherings, generally referred to as conventions. As we often receive negative feedback or complaints that indicate the regular operation of such events, we would like to outline some points here that are to be considered normal at our events. Please take a moment to review them before deciding to attend.
- Expect a loud environment. We set up quieter rooms, but this is not a guarantee of silence. (Typically from noon to 4 a.m.)
- Events will have a large number of guests in a confined space. Please consider this when registering. Room preferences do not accommodate aversions to crowds.
- Certain peak times will involve longer waiting periods. This applies to SIGs (also known as panels), food distribution, and elevators (each wing has a staircase providing access to all floors).
- The pool area will offer entertainment according to participants’ preferences. Expect a certain level of noise in and around the pool until midnight.
- The venue may be partially illuminated from the outside. Expect light to enter through windows. Rooms are equipped with curtains.
- The organizer has no control over local mobile reception. The hotel’s Wi-Fi has limited capacity.
- Pets are allowed, but due to their size, these events do not have a pet-friendly character.
