Conbook Artwork
Creatures of the Night!
This year’s Conbook is going to be absolutely hauntingly amazing, and we’re working like possessed spirits to make it the ultimate horror experience.
We still have plenty of space for your wickedly eerie artworks, so if you’re in the mood to spread some spooky vibes, bring it on. We’re dying for dark full-page illustrations, but creepy fillers lurking between the text are also welcome.
If you have a sinister creative streak and want to submit your horror masterpiece:
- The theme is everything! Your works should fit perfectly into the dark atmosphere – the more horror vibes, the better.
- Dark, bloody, or ghostly colors? Yes, please! Colorful artworks are not a must, but if they add to the eerie atmosphere, that would be great.
- Printing means CMYK – RGB is a ghost of the past! We can convert it, but some colors might vanish into the shadow realm.
- Sharper than a vampire’s fang! Print requires high resolution, so please submit at least 300 dpi – whether digital or scanned.
- The dark formats of choice: PNG, PSD with layers, or JPG (max quality) – to keep your artworks eerily detailed.
- The convention may be 18+, but we don’t want to cause nightmares. Keep it spooky but stylish. No extreme gore that would disturb even demons.
- Credit where credit is due! Send us your name and contact info (e.g., FA link or Telegram-@) so you get the recognition you deserve in the Conbook.
- We may also use suitable artworks for decoration purposes elsewhere. We would give you, the artists, one copy of any printed products after the convention. The remaining copies will usually be auctioned off for our charity
So summon your dark souls, let horror flow through your art, and send us your works – if you dare.
Deadline:
The deadline is August 10th
Info for full-page artwork:
Our Conbook is in DIN A4 format, meaning 210 mm wide and 297 mm high. But the printers are as merciless as a slasher villain and need 3 mm of bleed on each side – so the final size should be 216 mm x 303 mm. Play it safe so your artwork doesn’t get lost in the void.
Death Trap: Edge Cutting!
Keep a safety margin of 6 mm inside, or important details might vanish into the shadows.

Before you send your masterpiece to the afterlife…
Remember, even ancient relics can still be useful. Keep a backup before sending everything into the digital abyss – sometimes we might need a few tweaks.
Avoid Pixel Horror!
The real nightmare isn’t lurking in the dark – it’s low resolutions. Your works must be 300 dpi and A4 size. In the past, we’ve had to banish incredible artworks to oblivion because they were pixelated!
